Week 48 Spiders Again!

We had a roller coaster of a week!

On Wednesday we had Zoom Zone Conference with Elder Bennett, from the Area Seventy😊 it was awesome!
Sister Vest talked about loving God and loving our neighbor and President Vest talked about how much God loves us❤️ I know that God loves me and all of His children. Then Elder Bennett talked about how to become more like the Savior. It was 2.5 hours long and the best ever!

A bunch of our friends canceled on us this week but we did find 3 new friends!

Our friend Roger has been sharing the Book of Mormon with his friends😁

Please pray for Braden, he has decided to not take the lessons or be baptized for a few years😔 Also keep Jenny and Shelby in your prayers❤

Week 46 Transfer Week

It was transfers this week, and I knew that I was going to be apart of it because Sister Gardner was finishing her mission.

We got the calls on Tuesday and we thought it was going to be happening Thursday because that's when her plane left, but transfers were happening Wednesday. We were freaking out and then we packed her frantically and we were ready by Wednesday to leave at 1. We met the Syracuse West sisters at the Ogdensburg chapel (about 2.5 hours away) and then I drove back to Plattsburgh with my new companion Sister Kobe! Sister Gardner was staying the night with the SW sisters before she headed home.

I am the senior companion and Sister Kobe has been out for about 9 weeks. She is awesome! We have so much fun together.

This week we taught 4 in person lessons and that was nice! Sister Kobe didn't really know what to do because she hadn't really taught an in person lesson before, but she did a really good job!

We had President Brandt join our lesson on Thursday with Jenny and Shelby and the Spirit was so strong! They were both in tears😊

We have received a few refferals who are actually interested! Yay!

That's about it for this week👍🏻

Love you all!!!

Week 45 This was a long week, but also fast

This week's highlights:

-in person District Council
-in person interviews with President Vest
-more in person lessons😁
-Sister Gardners last full week
-beginning of August
-frustration with friends we are teaching (pray for Carl, Anna, and Braden)
-zone day of Miracles
-finally killed Jeffery and Jeffery Jr....and like 6+ of their friends

Spiritual thought comes from
2 Corinthians 4:5-6,8-9,17-18

"5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."

Trials are small moments compared to the eternities. Christ is always there for us❤
